Conversation Overheard #4

I recently heard someone talking on their cell phone.  During the conversation, this person said that their view of people have changed.  This person also said to the other person on the phone, "If I had known you about a year ago, I wouldn't be talking to you, but thanks to God, my view of people have changed."

Ain't it amazing that God can change a person's heart, mind, and mind-set.

Conversation #4

For years, I have heard, "Don't you know the Lord is soon to come!"  That has been said every since I can remember.

I am convinced that each generation that said it, meant it.

The signs can be seen, that the Lord is soon to come.  It is evident more and more each day.

I am praying that God would come back soon because the Bible says that the very elect could be fooled.  If the Bishops, Apostles, Pastors, preachers, and teachers can be fooled, Lord help us all.

It's funny how people get amazed at you when you can do something good, as if you doing something well is a feat that cannot be accomplished without some form of tricky.  Why does proficiency and talent seem to amaze people?  (Maybe it's just me.)

If you work hard at your craft, you expect to be good at it.
